Tomorrow is April 1…Easter, and we are expecting lower temperatures and SNOW! When will it end? Tulips are up but not yet flowered….I’m wrapping up spring cleaning with a nasty flu bug. Praying I don’t end up on the wrong side of the ground. I am sicker then a dog….where does that saying come from?
So eager to get outside and clean up winter debris. Have been looking at my decorating magazines to get ideas for my patio. So the plan is…..once the garage sales start up again, I will be looking for all kinds of containers for outside plants. I’m tired of weeding, hence the plan. Can’t wait to show pics….Have an OLD concrete wheelbarrow and that will look cool with pots in it. I saw at an antique mall where someone put potting soil in a wood trunk and filled it with plants, and the wood was rotting away but the effect was beautiful!
Been scouting out antique malls all fall and winter and now I’m biting at the bit to get lost in the garage sales where TREASURES can be bought for almost nothing! And farm sales are the best for unique items for plants! So I will struggle through the rest of my spring cleaning, did I mention I have 2 rooms to paint….and a ceiling? Weather, do your stuff, and I will be ready to move on to the next best thing….darn, this flu is slowing me down!
