The person with knowledge is always at the mercy of the person with experience. So we are brokenhearted that our beloved Kansas City Chiefs lost to the New England Patriots. Young Mahomes set records by breaking unbelievable records, yet a many time winner of Super Bowl, Tom Brady, led his team to yet another play-off victory. Amidst the tears, congratulations! It was a nail-biting difficult win, as we were a force to be dealt with, for sure.
It is such an honor to host the Chief’s Training Camp at Missouri Western University here in Saint Joseph MO. Our town is also quite famous, rich with history …..The Pony Express originated here…..it is re-enacted every year. And did you know that Saint Joseph Missouri hosted the longest time Solar Eclipse in the world almost 2 years ago?
But let me tell you why we are yet another class act…..Have you been to the NEW Speedy’s Gas Station at exit 50 at I-29? Have you seen the BEAUTIFUL restroom designations? Can you put yourself in my shoes, just got the car gassed up, heading to the counter to buy a powerball, a mega million…..AND a Snickers ice cream bar, but first, a stop at the women’s restroom and I see this…. I can truthfully say,without prejudice or bias…OUR GAS STATION IS NICER THEN YOURS ! ! ! ! !
Maybe I need to dress a little better next time I need gas………
