Just when I was on top of my flower plots…everything cleaned up and refreshed, I asked #sillysally if she knew where I could buy these fancy flower pots for my patio. Yes. we can MAKE THEM…in the spring. That gave me time to find them thrifting. What a fun party with 4 of us! Never done that before. I was the newbie! My pots are all going to be outside in the rain, with an occasional sunny day and blizzard in late spring…(I live in Missouri where we can drop 70 degrees in 1 day)(did I mention we live on tornado hill?) Russ will get up in the morning and ask “what kind of day am I having on the golf course today?” “Wonderful, honey, sunny, hot…be sure to tie that rope around your waist…”
So the process of learning begins. Making the mistakes…Since I need those pots outside, I won’t take the material over the bottom…hmm…I will lay out my strips so IÂ line them up not to have 2 yellow flowers next to each other…I put the 1st coat of polyurethane on this morning. I just remembered Russ had built me a high work bench which will be perfect to stand and do this Mod Podge thing…My supplies already await me…calling my name.
But today, I have to run away to my flower plots and reconnect. Start my week fresh. I have cucumbers to plant, some ground cloth to lay down and cover with pine cones for mulch, wild flowers to sow…and I gotta talk to God. I got questions, HE’S the only One with answers. I got requests, only He can make it happen. And I have to praise Him and thank Him.
I saw garage sales are starting up. My list is in my purse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
