My favorite time of the year is coming. Time for #tulips popping up, that 1st robin, scattering seed for beloved mourning doves, rhubarb shoots up, planting trees, opening windows and……………….#GARAGESALES ! ! ! But so much to do before then. Garage has to be totally cleaned out to make room for NEW TREASURES coming in….potting soil to be bought…bags of black oil sunflower seed…..have to clean out my #antique mall booths to make room for new #JUNK……..A time of rebirth. It’s that time of year when 6 year old who shaves will try to hide from me. He runs away from home with his golf buddies almost daily to avoid the list of chores that are assigned to him by me, she who must be obeyed. I mean some pieces of furniture are too heavy for me to lift in or out of the high up in the air truck. There is every kind of dolly available for his lifting pleasure……Then there will be chairs to be glued, surfaces to be sanded, things to be fixed….he’s so good at these things. It is definitely a different life with this wife…….excuse me…shopping companion…he NEVER proposed…just asked me to go shopping and I never said yes. Ok there was a party, some call a #wedding…but really?
But, due to snow, it is still that time of year where I have a reprieve from the hard physical labor of shuttling furniture around and just let my mind run amuck. Russ thinks it has derailed. So it’s a good time to dream BIG and look at things I dare not afford, but get ideas for the changes I’d like to redo this year. Enjoy the pics.
