It’s been an amazing 3 months putting this guest bedroom together from the original yellow bedspread. The 2nd (means that I bought another and had to take it back) rug from Target for $20. The 2nd bedspread from Bed Bath and Beyond on clearance for $89, Blue pillow from a Pensacola Florida Antique Mall $9, anchor pillow on clearance Bed Bath & Beyond $16, DIY Material wall art made from precut fabric rolls from Jo-Ann’s for $26, wall pictures clustered together on a wall, end table, solid oak from antique mall in Lathrop $45 and painted tangerine orange $9 from Lowe’s oops returns to match the $1 Silly tin and tile from a garage sale in Apache Junction Arizona, solid oak bedside lamp $26 and wood pelican $16, both from Florida, floor bag my daughter Billie Girl gave me, easel from Jesse James Antique Mall, St. Joseph MO for $26, bird pic from Pier 1 Imports $49, fish net and buoys $16 and Pensacola buoy $9 from antique mall Gulf Breeze Florida, 3rd ( yes, took 2 others back…) set of curtains from Bed Bath and Beyond clearance for $36 then 20% off coupon for $29, the $1 Silly…..the lockers that started all this chaos and commotion…….chrome cat $1 at a garage sale, blue throw $12 at T.J. Maxx, metal and wicker basket from Jesse James Antique Mall $21, orange runner $12 Florida antique mall, dry sink 100 years old, family item, 80 year old antique mirror $3 from garage sale Sabetha Kansas, wedding pic my Billie Girl, 2 Too gave me of their nuptials this Feb. in Las Vegas, Victorian lamp bought in Old Santa Fe, New Mexico at a consignment shop $32, colorful picture frame with my daughter Connie and me $1 at garage sale..…did I mention 3 gallons of white paint Lowe’s $75…….HOW WAS THIS FOR A LONG SENTENCE? ? ?
Finally, the bedroom as it was, and I loved it then…..but then the lockers…….
OK…the PENSACOLA room is done. …so we have the tropics at home…..
NEXT reno……Apache Junction……bringing the desert home…..
