#64…Chaos in the Cactus of my Mind, Part 1….Thinking About It…

Yup, here we go again. Amazing how the picture of this homemade beer-can Saguaro cactus has been the driving force of my new vision.  It’s the series,  The HUNT, The Treasures, the $1 Silly, all over again. The guest bedroom started with the $1 Silly mirror with the blue and orange colors….the whole room evolved around that one item. It’s my PENSACOLA Florida room for 2 Too daughter, Billie Girl.

Now it’s the Apache Junction Arizona desert come to roost on our soon to be completed patio. The leaves are falling, the mums are thriving and just yesterday we took a carload of coats, gloves and boots to Price Chopper where the Salvation Army was collecting for the homeless people in need, very shortly, with cooler weather moving in.  So it is upon this stage of dropping temperatures that I am thinking and searching for ideas for our desert oasis…..

At this moment there is NO plan. I know I have to build the cactus. Note on door “Russ, do NOT smash cans!”…..The color palette powder for the concrete is here in buckets, the rubber stamping has been selected….the outline formed…now in our 3rd day of raining cats and dogs so everything has stopped.

Though there is no plan, certain facts stand, actually lay aside on the grass…..a living area, a pergola, a dining area, a hot tub, and a fire pit area. So here will start the ideas ……..around the cactus of my mind…..and all the treasures I have drug home. My mind is definitely exploding with so many thoughts….even, how can I find a small silo bin to transform into a garden shop to store the patio treasures over the winter…that will be another story but unbeknown to Russ,  I am already thinking of ways to network this NEED to find a silo…moving it will be a challenge.

Coming soon, the Plan!
