I wondered if you noticed….russ has been corrupted by me………i had him drive me to the spotted dog consignment for a 10 minute appointment….what went wrong then while I waited to get my stuff checked in was that he got hungry though I had to wake him up sitting in the car to tell him that I need him to load the spool cable coffee table I had been looking for…… …nary a word was said as it filled the back end of the car. But he wanted to eat…d & g was closed for lunch so we drove downtown to the new to us and highly recommended pizza joint, parked and walked in. Looking at the menu forever.. standing…i decided don’t ever bring me here again in my life……2nd time in 5 days this has happened….i think I will blog this in the morning…we decided we would be safe going to the ground round…that’s where things went down hill. They give everyone popcorn for a snack and after 3 bowl fulls Russ got his happy face back. I had made the mistake of getting excited seeing where HUNTERLAND antique mall had moved to across the street from the restaurant and told him now that I knew where it was I could now drive down by myself and check it out… after we ate he waddled me right across the street because he said I told him we were going there, walked in and immediately spotted this table with 6 chairs for $225 and told me he expected me to negotiate for him. I slipped into a booth, PRAYED and went and made an offer. The people were shocked when they called the dealer and she accepted my $150 offer. But while I waited Russ was busy shopping for 2 other projects he is redesigning to make for next year. I would like to say I walked out empty handed but they were full carrying chairs….so my little 10 min run turned into 3 hours as OF COURSE we had to run home and get the truck AND drive back downtown. This is our new card playing table and the glass one is going on marketplace..
This is our life. This is normal……and daily.
