#122…Where Have the Years Gone To?

Twenty five years old holding my 3rd child. Today, my grandchildren are holding their babies, though those great grandbabies will be approaching their pre-teen years within 3+ years. Wow! So much to do…but it is so funny, I find the older I get, the more I have to do. There doesn’t seem anyway to simplify my life and make it stick.

I start on a room in my house.. to throw out, give away, or sell items so I can see wall space, trying to obtain a quiet conservative design, and all of the sudden the mind goes into 3D and I have all these new ideas. I swear my furniture and stuff have sex and multiply………………………Finally I got the dining room looking awesome, ONLY one thing left to do…spot paint some nail holes on the walls and I’m done. Except, it’s time to decorate for Christmas. For years now, my mentality dictates the rooms have to be stripped bare of ALL knic knax and have to look like a Christmas store everywhere! ! !  Why you say? I plead insanity. How many of your husbands have a Christmas tree in their bathroom, albeit a flat skinny one?

Six Christmas trees are not going to fit this year. Too much furniture. I have such problems. Four it will be. Why? I remember when daughter #2 Too got married. It was the Chinese year of the Dog. This year has been the Irish/Polish year of the Doctor Appointments. One more major situation to deal with in a few days and we should be home free, by the grace of God. Then next year we can deal with knee replacement………

Today is Thanksgiving. So much to thank God for. Thank you for your Son Jesus, who took MY sins to the cross. Thank you for my children……..this is a hard one….we are a dysfunctional family. Yet I know God is bigger then the challenges we face. He knows our hearts. Thank you Jesus for America, for forgiveness, for our extended family #2 Too and Bobby, Candi & John, NEW found cousin Rick and Beth, AND all my new family from New York, Tim Goard and his gang! ! ! !  for Aga, Michael, Eric and Michele, John and Diane, Bob and Diane, Ed and Jodean, Steve and LaVera, Jim and Karen, and Jaimie and her husband, and Ketra….. , for ALL our precious friends, for my dog. We are soooooo blessed. We have food, we have clothes and shelter. Lord, keep all Americans safe during their travels this wintery holiday weekend in the Name of Jesus I ask…..PS…I love you GOD!

I will have to paint those nail holes……after the holidays….
