The remodel is done. Now the color palette is coming together. Awaiting the arrival of the “rug”…..8 ft. round. The colors could awaken the dead. I’m hoping my marriage will survive this unexpected surprise. #1daughterconnie sez it will be wonderful but she’s as crazy as I am. Russ has told people he has no idea how I can bring bizarre stuff into the house, and when put together it’s beautiful. He is amazed….The reveal will be posted within the next few days. Need 1 more piece of furniture…….
Yes, Ronnie Hillyard, Russ is now into decorating. HE came up with this whole basement remodel thing. HE has gone antique shopping and bought a 40’s cabinet and completely redone it, He has DESIGNED the downstairs……redone the walls….AND his saddle shop is now carpeted ……not a trace of a saddle……OK, pick yourself up off the floor. Hope that wasn’t “The Big One, Elizabeth!” Since he and I got married, we are in this world we created together! (You should see the elk antler ceiling light that REALLY looks nice now with the new bubbled glass globes)
