Another spring is here. The crocus is up and the daffodils and tulips and non-stop work for the next 6 months. That is why I love winter so much, though I never got my blizzard this year…..but I can do nothing but read IF I want, and piddle with my projects AS I want. But spring? OMG! The work is endless, everything grows, has to have attention with all the unwanted guests…bugs, weeds arriving daily w/o reservations. I can only read at night and then I fall asleep from exhaustion. Yes, I do have a lovely patio and a lounger, BUT it’s me I’m dealing with and me has endless projects waiting! ! ! !
Not to think that I don’t love the work. Outside I am in my happy place. Though not gifted as an artist, I can create a masterpiece of color and beauty…..well then I put it on God to do the actual work. It’s his “stuff” I buy at Lowe’s….I went to the thrift shops with #1daughterconnie Weds. and bought all those flat sheets for my garage painting booth. My gosh….no back spray, though the garage door was open. Clothespins kept it all up.
So finally I submitted Russ’s SAR app and am waiting to handle corrections. That took HUNDREDS of hours. Not exagerrating. You cannot believe how many times I deleted his complete family tree and started all over again and told him they all wanted to make love instead of war and were secretive with all their records and he was adopted, no one wanted him, and nothing could be proven other then this one slept with that……..So a “John” on a marriage license turned out to be a “William” in the olde Family Bible and a “John T” in a family history was actually a
“John R” and a “Boller” in one generation was a “Buller” in the next generation and on and on.
At this point, Russ just sits in a corner eating his popcorn, a broken man…without a family he thinks, I’m trying to convince him we have overcome…The Mooney family has a Revolutionary Patriot! ! BENJAMIN BORTON of New Jersey!
Must finish the paint projects today. I saw yesterday that the 1st garage sale sign was posted, but I didn’t stop. Face mask ban got lifted 5 days ago, we have our vaccines and God is good!
