4 AM, just a dusting so far. A happy time. SNOW ALL DAY! Come on, this girl was born in Cleveland, Ohio. Take me home…city roads, lake effect……..Of course I don’t have to drive so it’s a wonderful day at home looking out the window at God at work decorating his palette. A minimalist, at best….country chic. Yes, I love his decor, but behind closed doors I’m a wild child with an industrial look. I LOVE ALL THINGS REPURPOSED! PERIOD!
I watch HGTV and the word on every show is…”texture”, followed by “timeless” What can be more plush then these 2 new mopheads I bought at a garage sale for $1? Well, I did have an item, a plush white fur stole I bought also at a garage sale for $3 to hang in my closet till time for Christmas decor and when I spread it out on my 8 ft credenza I couldn’t get anything to stand upright safely on it. Goodwill Donations opened at 9 AM.
I love my antique doily on the dining room table ONLY because I antiqued it. Yes, 50 cents at a garage sale. Twisted it up with rubber bands, dipped into brewing tea bags in very little water and hung to dry outside still in rubber bands……could this be timeless?
Another collection, the easel pic of the month club, sometimes of the week….depending if I find a pitter patter racing exquisite treasure more often. Life is complicated should I find 2 in one week, whereby one has to be changed out on the fireplace mantel also. I have such problems!
The Christmas decor is all packed away. So it snows……..a day to look at what the plans are for the year…..there will be 3 months to paint furniture, flower pots….to be creative, then in March, time to spray paint outdoor metal furniture, oops spray paint bird houses on a warm day in Feb….and then the heavy work of gardening….moving plants. Methinks Russ should buy me a electric wheelbarrow……Can you believe them Kansas City Chiefs!!!
