#213…Good Grief…I’m in Trouble NOW!

The truth of the matter is…that if I speak slowly in Polish to a person speaking in Russian, we can have a conversation and understand each other without a problem. If we speak quickly we have a good gist of what might be said…and all is well. Did I mention that the Baltic countries tend to have similar tasting dishes with a slight variation in seasonings, heavy on root vegetables as Poland and Russia, both higher north in the hemisphere. So you can understand why when I get nostalgic for home cooking I’m drawn to East European and Russian cooking!

Southern cooking is no match for Amazon at my fingertips and a decision to buy Greek seasoning….so then I saw.. Vegeta….Polish root vegetables…oh boy oh boy! And how exquisite of Amazon to plant other ideas I may enjoy! Of course! ! ! Russian DELECTABLE seasonings, I must have.

Did I say I know how to READ Russian?

It is good I am a good cook, now to see if hub side-kick will be smiling after the feast I will prepare with the mix that shows chicken on it.  He was raised on hamburgers and fries and meatloaf and potatoes and hamburgers…..

My mind is always wandering…away. I need to leash it.
