With Russ leaving for breakfast to his”Liar’s Club”, I took off on my errand’s itinerary to go shop! First stop at Menard’s to take advantage of 11% rebate on EVERYTHING!. THEY capitalize that word in the ads…..did I mention 2% rebate for using my Menard’s card? I needed to replace patio cushions and it’s that special time of the year to touch up all the wrought iron….again. For years I have sprayed gloss black, this year it will be teal green. That was great to have those cushions right there in my basket and to match all the paint! ! !
So I’m using the off orange for side tables and a muted lime green for the spool table…but I might change my mind….especially if I forget…What was I THUNKING at that time! Too much to do, so little time….I need those 30 hour days.
Yesterday I cleaned out garage cabinets and relined with shelf paper. So now I have a stack of stuff to touch up with paint. Last year I had this tremendous list of spring to do’s and I couldn’t sleep at night. This year the erasable board is sitting on my desk…clean…untouched. Due to my Sabbatical, I am able to go room by room getting everything done, so my mind is not so cluttered with other things, or it could be that I have finally just lost what was left of my mind.
It looks like today is the last day in the 30’s and spring arrives tomorrow. The crocus is up now since Saturday. It is a good day today to type a letter for my DAR application and scan some stuff, so I promise, Caroline and LaDonna, to get it done TODAY, if it hairlips every cat in the county!
