I just can’t do it. All this time at home during this pandemic, I am NOT going to spend time watching TV. There is too much life to live while there is life left….. Governor Cuomo said it this morning…what is happening in New York City is coming to your city…..For us, we have had in place…. to honker down at home and stay there….today….it is working for us….. The most encouraging news I just heard was that the Governor of California told the people to shelter in place on March 12 AND corona viruses numbers are receeding! ! ! Thank you Jesus!
So every minute of everyday is precious. Have been looking in my flat file of torn out magazine pages and came across this article on painting furniture….These chairs are flower stands on my patio, though different colors last year. The brown one I’ll paint tomorrow, methinks a wild green and then the 5 backboards, white. I plan on white flower pots and blue, red and green flowers. Should be loud, gaudy and spectacular. Since I love to glow in the dark, I will put fairy lights all over them.
I am sad that so many businesses here in Joetown won’t make it through this pandemic…..watching friends and neighbors struggle…….realizing that life will never be the same again. Already some of our friends losing their elderly parents (to age) and no funerals to pay our respects because we can’t gather over 10 people at a time. Seeing, out of this tragedy, new ways of doing business….change is scary…to me….
I am praying for Mary Beth for an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment; for Diane, Marnie and Sharon to recoup quickly from their surgeries; for baby Carter to grow in strength; for Dee and Gene during their hard time; for my cousin Tammy, a medic in New York; for the safety of all my loved ones; give us hope Lord, keep us safe in the Name of Jesus.
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will heal their land.” unquote……GOD.
Though you be bored and climbing the walls, this too will pass. But today is a life and death situation. Go clean out your closetS, iron……. make pasta by hand….paint a wall/chair, make out your will, bake a cake! ! ! AND DON’T FORGET TO KISS THE DOG.
