If you read my last blog about my painting of the month club, you see that I have a new entry from the one garage sale I went to yesterday, a treasure for $2! Hub sidekick did not smile or say a word. Little does he know I have a new vision! Ok, yes, I have been watching HGTV and there are 2 particular shows, a husband & wife and a daughter & mother who stage exactly how I love…so I study and take mental notes. Thursday I made the decision to make some changes when I have all this down time during our upcoming blizzards and ice storms and Friday there is this painting! ! ! Did God just now speak to me? Does He not give us the desires of our hearts?
Maybe what I’ve pieced together is… leave the wall colors alone, I loved them when I picked them out, leave the rugs alone…..BUT go for the curtains, throw pillows and wall paintings. So it’s bedroom’s time this winter, though I will refresh the white paint……Just going to replace the theme of each room and I will start with the room of that $1 Silly.
You say, you think I have time for another project? Yes. So soon YOU forget I did a two year Sabbatical to get my life in order. It ends next month. The most extraordinary thing that happened last week while Russ was on his elk hunt was my conclusion that since we have been married, I have not had an office to myself. So that’s what I did. I can’t say how many hundred of notes I tackled, but every phone call for everything in life got done, every note saying…buy batteries, 3 sided cheese grater, slippers, EVERYTHING was bought, EVERYTHING was filed….EVERYTHING. There is NOTHING waiting for me to do…….there are NO DANGLING PARTICIPLES. I can say that, it’s my blog. Not to be fooled, I have to deal with winterizing the yard…wrapping Christmas presents….
