#182…Green Tomato Relish, Tornado Sirens, Halloween???

I have either lost my mind or I’m slipping into my 2nd childhood. A powerball win would save me. Then I could hire a crew of people to help do all the projects I come up with. I cannot stop looking around and maybe for the 1st time in my life seeing sooooooo many things I want to do but the body is not so co-operative. Takes twice the time to do half the work. The main deal today is that bushel of tomatoes and bell peppers (I grew) and onions, a dash of jalepenos and I will have canned green tomato relish. Of course I have been planning that for 3 days. One never knows what hub side kick will pull to distract me…..like yesterday I was ONLY going to the store EARLY to buy those onions and jars and he decided I needed a driver. Yea, that ended up at CVS for our booster vaccine, a run to Savannah for election school, followed by strawberry rhubarb pie with Beth and Rick and so the day ran…… then almost too tired to fix supper, FORGET THE CANNING.

What are we doing, almost Nov and the sirens are going off and we have to seek shelter in the basement because there are tornados all around us? This is insane. March thru June is our tornado season. The world has gone mad and methinks God has changed his format also……OK, so I had to put up a Christmas tree in Oct so we could have a Christmas dinner with friends leaving to be snowbirds…and now I’m getting posts accusing me of possible early snowfalls because I decorate so early!

I HAVE GOT TO FINISH WINTERIZING THE FLOWER PLOTS! ! ! I see all these paint situations and am biting at the bit to create…The scarf rack is an antique ceiling light fixture that is repurposed and spray painted. Oh…the relish. Maybe I can find Russ and get him to help me, but he’s moving into “hide” mode.

Some garage sales tomorrow will calm me down. Maybe I will find at NEW #$1silly………
