#192…There’s Not Much Time Left To Rest…

This is the sweetest time of the year for me, a quiet time to count my blessings, catching up on some books, cleaning out (editing my house, the magazine article said), trying new recipes…everything at my leisure.

5 Feb today. I’m good for 1 more week. Temps will be in the 50’s. In 2 weeks, typically in February we will have 1 day at 70+ degrees and a blizzard the next day or even that night. Missouri is famous for dropping 70 degrees in 1 day….and not a rare habit.

I am stress free until that 1 day of 70……out come the legal pads and let the lists begin! ! ! ! The flower plots have gone from 5 to 7 so now I have to figure what will have to be moved, what supplies needed, how can I do this more efficiently this year so I can stay ahead of the weeds?

And all the patio furniture needs to come out and be painted…I already caught a day last weekend at 50 degrees and sprayed clear shellac on all my birdhouses….

Oh and the garage, it attracts junk…

Good grief the garage sales start in 8 weeks and I must make a list to paint what is left over from last year.

So I will drink my coffee and enjoy the eagles acrost the road…(my blog, my English…..) and pray that I might be better organized this year, more effective in getting everything done ON TIME, and hope the new sump pump will be the answer to heavy spring rains!
