This is February after all. So this week has been 70’s and then 80..and now this morning snow and 12 degrees. My friends have been asking what all have I been doing outside? The weather never determines my activities. Everything in my life is planned by 4 seasons. Spring does not officially start for almost 3 1/2 weeks so that is all the time I have left to finish my house projects, and I’m almost there, even having time to read my magazines and enjoy life a little bit more. Yes the tulips are tall…and the crocus…and daffodills, but the gardener is NOT available till the 3rd week of March.
Once I start working outside, the hard labor is non-stop through Sept 15…6 MONTHS! ! ! Geez, I’m not going to start before MY time. Not to be fooled…the creative juices have been flowing and I have plans for all my flower plots, have bought all my garden seeds and herbs and there are so many flower seeds I harvested last fall to sow, lawn furniture to spray paint, asked a neighbor to plow up a garden area…my plans are on paper, on purpose, WAITING.
I may squeeze in next week cleaning out the garage.
But I also have to stop and thank God for all my blessings and pray for my family and friends. satan (small letters) is wreaking havoc with drama, health concerns, relationships, job situations, you know…the stuff soap operas are made of. It’s a good time to remember that God is bigger then our problems. I love what he sez…the horse is ready for war, but the battle belongs to the Lord.
Last night’s snow was #13 since it snowed on Nov 25th, so that means we have 12 more times of snow, even if it be a dusting in a day….
